Introduction: during the hot summer, there is always a large number of heat accumulating in the human body and can not be expelled out, and this may easily lead to diseases. As a result, we should pay great attention to the diet in summer. Generally speaking, we should better eat less of the following three kinds of food in summer.
First, eat less warm-natured or hot-natured fruits.
If you eat a lot of warm-natured or hot-natured fruits such as litchi and longan, it will easily bring too much heat to the body, thus leading to diseases. During the hot summer, people tend to suffer from insomnia, and the metabolic rate is on a high level. As a result, it is very harmful to eat warm-natured or hot-natured fruits. What’s more, those who had a fever or inflammation should especially keep away from these fruits. In addition to litchi and longan, there are also many other kinds of warm-natured or hot-natured fruits, such as peach, guava, cherry, coconut, durian, apricot, and so on.
Second, eat less nuts.
Nuts refer to the seeds which contain a large number of oil and fat, such as peanut, walnut, cashew nut, pine nut, melon seeds, almond, pistachio nut, and so on. Nuts are very nutritious and beneficial to human health. However, during the summer, you should not eat too much of this kind of food. This is because nuts contain a high content of calories, and they will produce a lot of heat in the body. The calorie of 50 grams of melon seeds is equivalent to that of a large bowl of rice. To average people, eating about 30 grams of nuts every day is an appropriate amount.
Three, eat less meat.
When the temperature exceeds 35 degree celsius, people will sweat a lot, and this may increase the viscosity of blood, and make people irritable. If you eat a lot meat at this moment, it will make the temper much worse. Meat contains a lot of animal protein, which can reduce the content of tryptophan in the brain, and make people aggressive and anxious. Secondly, meat contains little calcium, so if you eat too much, it may decrease the concentration of calcium in the body, and this can also aggravate the irritable temper. What’s more, eating too much meat can cause vascular sclerosis, and then increase the level of blood pressure, while high blood pressure is an important for emotional instability.

Oh good – they didn’t take chip off the summer menu. Here’s my simple natural suggetion: Read the labels – see what the serving size is, how many calories in a serving, and check what all chemicals they have added. Not to say chemicals are bad but geeesh sometimes all the ingredients seem to be chemicals.
weird that they think fruits that ripen in the summer are bad for us? I don’t buy it. hot natured foods? sounds like some new age idiocy.
They didn’t say it was bad for us, they said don’t eat too much of it. As far as hot and cold natured food, it’s been around for 100′s if not 1000′s of years. It is very true… There is reason we drink red wine with red meat and white wine with seafood. They counter act each other based on their hot and cold natured food type. Why do you think we eat ginger with sushi? same reason.
You might have “benign vertigo”. I started having having dizzy spells and went to the doctors for tests. I was about 27 or 28 the first time it happened. It’s been happening off & on ever since (now I’m 65). I’ve had MRI’s, CT scans etc etc. They have never found a reason other than this diagnosis of benign vertigo label. Guess it’s just their way of saying they don’t know what it is!
I’m not fat, I’m fluffy.
What kind of sorcery is this?
